With Star Wars: The Last Jedi finally hitting theaters on December 15, the world has been left waiting for the film’s premiere date.
In the meantime, some of the most popular places to visit in the galaxy far, far away are also gearing up to celebrate.
From Star Wars fans and Star Wars aficionados alike, this year’s big events will take place in the weeks to come, with a slew of pop culture festivities planned across the globe.

A week of events in Europe and Asia will take you to Star Wars Celebration Europe, which is the largest Star Wars event in Europe.
From November 12-16, more than 60,000 fans will flock to London’s Wembley Arena for two days of fun and festivities.
For some of those who are planning to visit Europe, the festivities will kick off with the UK’s annual Christmas Day Celebration.
On November 14, fans will be treated to a night of spectacular lighting and fireworks, complete with Star Wars-themed music.
In London, fans can take part in a variety of activities from an array of food vendors to Star War trivia and a “Wish you Were Here” scavenger hunt.
Fans can also take part at London’s Imperial City Park, which will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., on November 14 and 15, with the Star Wars Holiday Market taking place from Nov. 19-23.
A few other notable events in the UK include the “Star Wars Celebration Britain Day” on November 18 and the “Festival of the Force” on Nov 19, which also features Star Wars costumes and a Star Wars scavenger hunting event.
On Nov. 15, fans who arrive in London from the United States and Europe will be able to catch a glimpse of the upcoming Star Wars movie, with Star Tours: The Adventures Continue taking place on the island of Capri in the Canary Islands.
Finally, the holiday season kicks off on Nov 16, when fans can check out the official “Star Tours: Celebration” in London, where they can meet new friends, play Star Wars, and even see the first teaser for Star Wars Episode VIII: The Force Awakens.
Fans will also be able experience the show’s “Star Trek” theme park as part of the celebration.
The countdown for the Nov. 17 premiere date of Star Wars is underway, and it looks like fans are going to be able grab tickets to the premiere in Los Angeles on November 19.
For those who have already been waiting for a ticket to Star Tours, the countdown will kick in at 9:30 p.mn. on Nov 18.
For everyone else, tickets will go on sale at 10 a.n.m on Nov 20.
