A California homeowner has been found guilty on three counts of making “toxic” home decor, according to local media.
A jury found Anthony Garcia-Valdivia guilty of the two counts of felony criminal damage to property and one count of misdemeanor criminal damage of property.
The jury deliberated for two days before convicting Garcia-Verde on all three counts.
He faces up to six months in jail if convicted.
The prosecution had argued that Garcia-Dominguez’s decor did not meet the standard of quality required by the state to qualify for the $10,000 state permit that lets homeowners decorate their homes with art and artwork.
Garcia-Verdua was found guilty Thursday.
